10th Annual Shine to Wine Festival September 20 2014
Over the past 20 years, numerous local farmers have moved into the winemaking industry and the Shine to Wine: Wine, Beer, Spirit & Art Festival gives local brewers, distillers, and producers a chance to display and publicize their craft. The festival also traces the historical development of Wilkes County liquor from moonshine to wine. This year's event will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 12:00-6:00pm.

The annual Shine to Wine Festival is held in Historic Downtown North Wilkesboro and features live entertainment, art, merchandise, wine, and food. The Shine to Wine Festival has expanded to offer craft beer from local and regional breweries, in addition to spirits from regional distilleries!

General admission is FREE, and wine/beer/spirit tastings are only $20! ($15 in advance) Tasting tickets allow the purchasor to taste all wines, beers, and spirits.

Lonerider - Sweet Josie
Big Boss - Angry Angel
Triangle Brewing- White Ale
Shock Top - Pumpkin Ale

Brewgrass Festival 2014 September 20 2014

Each year in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina, we gather over 40 American breweries to showcase more than 120 different beers. We add a great lineup of national and regional bluegrass musicians that, in the past, has included such notables as Cadillac Sky, Carolina Chocolate Drops, The Infamous String Dusters, Dry Branch Fire Squad, J.D. Crowe, The Osborne Brothers, Norman Blake, Tony Trischka, Jim Lauderdale, Valerie Smith, Tony Furtado, Yonder Mountain String Band, and Sons Of Ralph. We also feature a variety of area food vendors and plenty of water.

Put all these things together and you have the ingredients for the perfect beer day.

2014 Brewgrass will be held Sept 20 from 1pm - 7pm at Memorial Stadium. Tickets go on sale July 6 at 1 p.m. -

Charlotte Beerfest September 20 2014
The inaugural Charlotte Beerfest will be held 5–9pm on September 20th, with exclusive VIP sampling 4–9pm at BB&T Ballpark in Uptown Charlotte! In our inaugural year, Charlotte Beerfest is committed to providing its patrons with the greatest festival experience in all of the country. Dean's Seafood Oystoberfest to Feature Unique Craft Beers Cary, N.C. September 20 2014

Dean Ogan, owner of Dean’s Seafood Grill & Bar, located at 1080 Darrington Drive in Cary, has announced that the restaurant will host its popular Oystoberfest event daily from Sept. 20 to Oct. 5. The second annual event will feature a variety of hard-to-find oysters and unique craft beers from around the country and Canada.

The 2014 Oystoberfest Festival will include these specials:
  • More than 20 varieties of oysters in the shell from North Carolina, the East Coast, the West Coast, Canada and more
  • Collaboration with local breweries to brew one-of-a-kind beers just for this event

919 Beer Presents Beericana Craft Beer and Music Festival September 27 2014
NC Craft Beer? Great music? You’ve come to the right place.

Beericana is a premiere N.C. craft beer festival featuring breweries from the Triangle, across the state, and beyond, blended with great Americana/Bluegrass music and local food trucks. The 4th Annual French Broad Fall Festival September 27 2014
French Broad Fall Fest will be held September 27th, 2014 at the beautiful Hot Springs Resort and Spa in Hot Springs, NC. The 2014 Charlotte Oktoberfest will be held outdoors at The NC Music Factory on September 27. The NC Music Factory is located at 1000 NC Music Factory Blvd.
