Peabody's Annual Cellar Sale Extravaganza June 22 2013
The Annual Cellar Sale is upon us!
This years Event Promises to be BIGGER AND BETTER than ever before!

At this years event we will be releasing 3000+ bottles of brews that have been slumbering patiently in our light, temperature, and humidity controlled cellars! These brews are all "rare" to "super rare" and guaranteed to have been gone for a while! There will be vertical collections, and lots of beers that barely saw the light of day before they were "snatched up" throughout the state!
This year's event will mark the first release of Peabody's "Blendiculous Series" entitled Lock, Stock, and Bourbon Barrels, with tastes of the brew and a limited number of bottles for sale! This was a collaboration with Olde Hickory Brewery and will be a blended Barleywine, aged in multiple Bourbon Barrels!
Mystery Beer Diner - Mystery Brewing June 26 2013
Join Erik Lars Myers of Mystery Brewing Co., Certified CiceroneTM, author of North Carolina Craft Beer and Breweries and recent contestant on CNBC’s Crowd Rules and Executive Chef Jason Cunningham and Sous-chef Murray Healy of the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club as they present a four-course prix-fixe beer-inspired menu on the Terrace on the Green with beautiful golf course views. Start the evening with a beer reception and end the evening by enjoying a surprise mystery beer (five beers total to be served).

4th Annual Brew Bern Beer Fest June 29 2013
New Bern will be hosting their fourth annual beer festival at the New Bern Riverfront Convention Center this summer on June 29, 2013. This 45,000 square foot venue is located in the city's historic district on the Trent River waterfront at 203 South Front Street, New Bern, NC . The festival will focus on 50+ American craft and regional micro breweries with over 150 beers being offered. There will be one tasting session with three tickets options. The VIP ticket is $40 if purchased before 15 Jun, $50 after that date/day of the event and will give you admission from 1 - 6 PM. The General Admission ticket is $25 if purchased before 15 Jun, $35 after that date/day of the event and will give you admission from 2:30 - 6 PM. The VIP and GA ticket includes tasting glass, festival program, pen and unlimited sampling of all beers offered.  There will only be 500 VIP and 3000 total tickets sold. Ticket sales will start at 8 AM on Saturday, 4 May 2013.

9th Annual Summertime Brews Festival at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. The Summertime Brews Festival will be Saturday, July 13, 2013 from 2:30pm – 8pm. Enjoy hundreds of craft beers from around the world. VIP tasting will be from 2:30pm-4pm. General Admission will begin at 4pm and conclude at 8pm.

Sensory Training 3 (Diacetyl, Lactic, Indole, Caprylic, Grainy, Almond)
Sensory Training Classes
- Includes six different flavors each time.
-Taste the flavors and discuss how to describe them and what can cause them. And for the homebrewers, we will discuss how these flavors can be prevented (or enhanced).
-Each class will be 6 new flavors, there will be no repeats.
-The registration fee will cover a control sample plus 6 other samples, as well as notes to take home.
-The Beer Study will also be including a 1/2 pint of one of their draft beers so you don’t have to only drink beer with off-flavors.
-Limited to 15 people per class.

Brewgrass September 21 2013
Brewgrass - Saturday, September 21, 2013, 1pm - 7pm in the Martin Luther King Jr. Park, Asheville, NC. Hosted by the Great Smokies Craft Brewers Association and benefiting Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Western North Carolina. Each year in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina, we gather over 40 American breweries to showcase more than 120 different beers. We add a great lineup of national and regional bluegrass musicians that, in the past, has included such notables as Cadillac Sky, Carolina Chocolate Drops, The Infamous String Dusters, Dry Branch Fire Squad, J.D. Crowe, The Osborne Brothers, Norman Blake, Tony Trischka, Jim Lauderdale, Valerie Smith, Tony Furtado, Yonder Mountain String Band, and Sons Of Ralph. We also feature a variety of area food vendors and plenty of water. Put all these things together and you have the ingredients for the perfect beer day. Online tickets for the 2013 Brewgrass Festival will be going on sale Saturday June 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.
