Blue Blaze Brewing Company is located right on the Thread Trail in Charlotte. Is there a more perfect way to take a break on your hike or bike ride!? Blue Blaze was named after the paint stripes on the Appalachian Trail called blazes. Blue Colored blazes lead to water, relaxation, and comradery.
The brewery is located in an old renovated warehouse in Charlotte’s West End. Outside, there is plenty of seating and grass for cornhole and puppies. Yes, dogs are allowed! Several fire pits are set up on the lower hill beneath the brewery. There are also two charcoal grills set up for customers to use! On the deck, there are rocking chairs overlooking the yard and the woods. A great place to sit and enjoy beer and nature.
Inside, natural wood and soft lighting give the area a warm feel with pictures of scenic hiking trails hung all around. Upstairs on the loft is a reading area with plenty of books to choose from and comfortable couches to relax on.
My favorite part of Blue Blaze is their instrument wall. Next to the bar hangs a few guitars and stringed instruments for anyone to borrow if the urge to play strikes!
Activity and nature are the two major themes at Blue Blaze. There are always events featuring hiking, biking, CrossFit, and yoga. You can even get a Blue Blaze leather holster to attach a growler to your bike! Check out their website or follow them on social media to keep up with the many events.
Stay active, enjoy nature, and remember to stop in to Blue Blaze Brewing Company for all of your relaxation needs!
