Brewing beer requires a certain finesse and artistry that we’re so lucky our guys have in spades. Over the last few weeks, they’ve been hard at work crafting unique brews for your imbibing pleasure, so if you haven’t visited the tap room in a while, now’s your time!
But, first thing’s first: Doin’ Thyme Wit FLASH SALE starts today! Get your 4pks for $5!
This week’s THURSty THURSday is a reiteration of a small batch we did last month called “Pluto’s Lament.” It’s a smooth, easy-drinking porter with hints of dark chocolate and a mellow, barely there bitterness. Think of everything you want in a porter and that’s “Pluto’s Lament.” You can find it on tap later this week if the staff doesn’t drink it all first!
So what else are we drinking? Well, since you asked… Alex put out a great Farmhouse-style IPA with Brett called “Good Future.” Now, we can’t tell the future but all signs point to YES that this is one damn fine beer. You also have a chance to try “Just Like Heaven,” an IPA we made for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (and $1 of your purchase goes to support!) For a full list of beers on tap, check out the image below!
Don’t forget to treat your pops this Sunday for aspecial jazz brunch with Papi Queso! We’ll have live music by Brut Beat at 12pm, too, so you can chill out on a beautiful afternoon with sweet jams, grilled cheese and beer.
I Dream of Cheesy: Anyone grow up with their grandparents making open-faced cheese sandwiches? Turns out, this sandwich variant, called “Cheese Dream,” was popular during the Great Depression because it was inexpensive, easy to make and adaptable to different ingredients (tomato, bacon, etc).
