Double Red Ale

Because we’re a strange bunch, we have a lot of fun doing some silly things. Thinking of puns is an enjoyable pastime for some of us (just ask JP and Opie about the scones!), and we had an especially good time thinking up beer names for this week’s small batch.
This Double Red Ale, “Jefferson Sklarship,” is brought to you by Packaging Technician and Resident Awesome T-Shirt Wearer: Marc Sklar. With a little earthiness and a touch of caramel, “Jefferson Sklarship” is well balanced and delicious on all fronts. Hints of light almond and juicy stonefruit accent the main ingredients, while a residual sweetness on the finish sets you up perfectly for another sip. For those of you who have been asking for reds, we heard your cries! Come get some “Jefferson Sklarship” this week on THURSty THURSday before it runs out!
There’s another chance to try something new this week as we release “Rewind” Lager on draft and in cans this Saturday! Light and crisp, Rewind is a perfect patio beer or all-day crusher for pool parties and BBQs. Try some this weekend and stick around for live music at 7pmby Jimmy (Matrimony) and Justin (The New Familiars).
Blast Off!: Back in the ’70s Paul Katner of Jefferson Airplane, Grace Slick and a bunch of familiar musicians recorded an outer space concept album (later winning the Hugo Award, a science-fiction honor). Originally called the Planet Earth Rock and Roll Orchestra, the revolving door of contributors to the band eventually called themselves Jefferson Starship.
