Pineapple Pale Ale
ABV: 5.6% | IBU: 60
We’ve got a big week for you guys, so might as well mark a few dates on your calendar so you don’t miss out on the fun!
As usual, THURSty THURSday never disappoints. For the last six years, we’ve offered a different small batch, cask, seasonal or limited brew each week. We’re reissuing an old favorite, O.P.P. (Other People’s Pineapples), a pineapple pale ale Conor and JP made in the early years. Bright and aromatic from fresh pineapple and accented by Simcoe and Cascade hops, O.P.P. is super refreshing and best enjoyed with a slice of pizza from our friends at Libretto’s food truck.
Saturday is our IPA Series Release of Goat Fuzz, a tasty IPA made with Ekuanot hops! You might remember the original small batch of it during our anniversary party in December, so if you liked that you’ll definitely love our new and improved version! Join us anytime during the day for food trucks, live music, and some darn good beer.
Annnnddddd on Sunday, we’re finally taking advantage of the Brunch Bill and hosting a brunch of our own! Try a scrumptious Croque Madame from Papi Queso and enjoy some beer, cider or mimosas on our patio! We’ll be opening at 10am on Sundays each week to host a relaxed, easy going brunch. You can even wear your jammies if you want! That’s what Sundays are for, right? So if you’re tired of long waits at the restaurant and need a chill place to treat yourself, Sundays at Birdsong might just be your jam.
Trouble on Big Island: Pineapples are often associated with the Hawaiian islands but since Thursday, the islands are in the news for a near weeks-long series of eruptions and quakes that have caused residents to evacuate their homes. Fissures can spew lava hundreds of feet in the air and the footage looks both terrifying and surreal.Learn more about Hawaii’s current crisis and how you can help by reading up on the news.
Like what you find at Birdsong? Let’s go steady on social.
