Did You Know?:

Insects can get drunk too! John Lubbock, an 18th century naturalist, was a pretty weird guy – he decided to get some ants drunk!

Interestingly enough, when the schnockered ants stumbled upon their sober friends from the same nest, the sober ants would literally carry their drunken friend back to the nest to sleep it off!

Unfortunately, when drunk ants approached sober ones from a different nest, the sober ants exhibited violent behavior towards them and essentially pushed them away. Sounds oddly familiar, doesn’t it?
