CBC Newsletter – April 24, 2018 – Redneck Hill Ale

Redneck Hill Ale
Redneck Hill, a Traditional American Ale, was created in partnership with Charlotte Motor Speedway. This new craft beer is named for Redneck Hill, the raised spot in the Speedway infield between turns 1 and 2. Redneck Hill is a fan favorite and a prime spot for watching the race.

Redneck Hill at Charlotte Motor Speedway was created from a granite explosion that was required to build the Speedway. The raised spot in the infield between Turns 1 and 2 became affectionately known as “Redneck Hill” in the 1970s. Redneck Hill was where the most sun-drenched race fans gathered to race wagons, grill out, have a drink and take in a thrilling race. Pixar executives once rented an old Winnebago and spent three days at Redneck Hill researching the movie that became “Cars.” Ask any fan who’s spent time on Redneck Hill and they’ll tell you a great story about how Willie Nelson and Tommy Lee Jones came to visit, or how Marty Robbins grabbed a guitar and jammed out with the locals.

Redneck Hill Ale will be on sale for all major speedway events starting this weekend. Redneck Hill Ale is also available at local grocers including Food Lion, Lowes Foods, Harris Teeter, and Total Wine.

Redneck Hill Ale is brewed, canned and presented to you with the same tender love and care your average race fan might use when putting his couch on top of a school bus. ABV 4.9% IBU 13
