Episode #129 – French Broad Brewing Co. – IPA

Today we are drinking the IPA out of the French Broad Brewing Company of Fairview Rd in Asheville. Since opening their doors in 2001, the goal of French Broad “has been to create traditional European style beers while maintaining the unique flavor that is Asheville.” Currently the Brewery offers six staple, year-round beers: the Wee-Heavy-Er Scotch Ale, 13 Rebels ESB, IPA, Ryehopper, Gateway Kolsch, and Anvil Porter. These are always on tap at the Tasting Room along with an assortment of seasonal specialties, and frequently a beer on cask. They say of the IPA, “Our IPA features hops (of course!), but has a lot going on in the grain bill as well. You will enjoy it!”
