BREWERY v. BREWERY VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT

Maverick and Goose won’t be there, but some of Asheville’s finest breweries will bring their game out to the sand court for some fierce competition. Come cheer for your favorite beer purveyor as Hi-Wire, Highland, New Belgium, Sierra Nevada, Oskar Blues, and Pisgah face off to see who is the Top Gun. Shit talking rights and a lifetime of glory are all at stake, so naturally there will be beer specials and plenty of fun to be had.
MEMORIAL DAY KEG HUNT with BLUE RIDGE ROLLER GIRLS

In collaboration with Conundrum Escape Room, Hi-Wire Brewing will send 10 Teams of 6 in to downtown Asheville with the mission of following a series of clues leading them to the final “secret” destination, where there will be free Hi-Wire Beer, Food, & Live Music. The first team to complete the Keg Hunt will receive a free keg from Hi-Wire Brewing to be used at a future date. BEER & MUSIC PAIRING ACT II

Tasty Beverage, Burial Beer Co, and Hi-Wire Brewing are teaming up to pair delicious tunes with tasty beverages from each brewery. This will be a curated event with each — Bryan Smith (Tasty Beverage), Tim Gormley (Burial Beer), and Chris McLain (Hi-Wire Brewing) — selecting songs to pair with 3 specialty beers from each brewery. This year we will be releasing Crystalline Prophecies, a collab between Hi-Wire and Burial, as part of the event. This mixed culture saison is a blend of barrels from each breweries original home on the South Slope. We will be releasing this beer in draft and 500ml bottles as a Tasty Beverage exclusive!
After the curated portion of the event, guests will be able to put in requests for pairings. Turn on, tune in, and drink great beer!

The 4rd Annual BBQ Sauce Competition presented by Luella’s Bar-B-Que & Hi-Wire Brewing will be hosted from 5pm-7pm at the Big Top Taproom & Production facility in Biltmore Village | 2 Huntsman Place. Participants will be able to enter in up to into three different sauce categories: Tomato, Mustard, & Anything Gose (pun-intended). There is a limit of ONE entry PER category. Plow To Plate Beer Pairing

Join Asheville Ale Trail, The American Pig and Asheville Date Night Guide for a flavorful evening featuring 5 tables, each hosting a pairing of a North Carolina farm, a chef and a brewery. The three will collaborate to serve a small plate highlighting locally grown ingredients, paired with a select craft brew. The event is designed to showcase the creativity and partnerships that make Western North Carolina’s culinary community one of the nations most celebrated.
Profits from Plow to Plate will benefit Bounty and Soul, a non-profit organization creating healthier communities by providing fresh healthy food, nutrition literacy and health & wellness resources.
