Lyft and Charlotte Craft Brewery Community Come Together For 4th of July Responsible Rides

Lyft contributes $15,000 toward the launch of program to demonstrate its commitment to the community

CHARLOTTE, NC – ​Charlotte Independent Brewers Association (CIBA) has announced Lyft as its official rideshare partner to offer responsible transportation for lovers of the local brewery culture. In celebration, there will be an Independence holiday weekend promotion where Charlotteans can enjoy $5 off a ride to or from participating partners all day on July 7, 2018 using code RIDESONTAPCLT.

This one-time experience is part of a larger CIBA and Lyft relationship, in which both partners are committed to ensuring Charlotte residents and visitors have access to responsible transportation. As the official rideshare partner of the Charlotte Independent Brewers Alliance, Lyft will have a presence at upcoming festivals and events as well as provide special benefits and promotions to Alliance members throughout the year. Lyft is offering each member unique coupon codes for new Lyft riders and a pool of Lyft credits so that breweries/cideries can guarantee employees, guests, and patrons a reliable ride home when they need them.

During the July 7th event, craft brewery guests can use the promo code (RIDESONTAPCLT) to get home safely after a day celebrating. Limited edition pint glasses will also be available at each venue on the day of the event.
