The Glass Jug Beer Lab – Two New Beers, Yoga, Food Truck, D9 Tap Takeover, & Cinco De Mayo!

Lots happening this week at The Jug!

NEW BEER RELEASES

We’ve got TWO new beers going on draft this week!

First, since we’ve gone a few weeks WITHOUT any IPAs on draft, we’re addressing that on WEDNESDAY with a new single malt and single hop (SMaSH) session IPA made with Golden Promise malt and Centennial hops. Our SMaSH series is called Binomial, due to the use of just a single grain and a single hop. This one is Binomial: Centennial and is an easy-drinking summer IPA. Great for the hop heads that don’t want something too heavy. We’ll have draft available on Wednesday. No crowlers this week, but we’ll have some in the cooler next week.

Clint Eaker, who has been a bartender at the Jug since day 1, brewed two versions of a small batch Mexican-style Lager, one classic version and one with lime zest. It’s called Austríaco en México, which translates to Austrian in Mexico – an ode to Mexican lagers’ origins in Austria.

Clint brewed this beer on our pilot system, and we split it into two kegs that will be on side-by-side. Both versions will be available beginning when we open on Saturday. No crowlers or growlers available, since we only have one keg of each!

Benetis Tacos Y Yo will be set up with a table in the beer garden to sell tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and other favorites from 4pm – 8pm.
