Tap room will be focused on more farmhouse and sour beers and incorporating local art and community events.
Charlotte, NC – Wooden Robot Brewery is excited to announce their upcoming plans to expand. Wooden Robot has signed a lease for 5,700 sf at Novel NoDa, located adjacent to the new 36th Street station on the Blue Line Extension. The outparcel building is currently under construction and is scheduled to be completed by late 2018, at which point up-fit will begin. A new tap room will be constructed on site that includes both a 3,000 sf ground floor patio and a 3,000 sf rooftop beer garden.
The additional space will allow Wooden Robot to better keep up with demand for its foeder and wine barrel aged sours. In keeping with the exceptional culture already present in the NoDa neighborhood, Wooden Robot plans to engage with local artists to bring a unique aesthetic and atmosphere to the new space, as well as a focus on community events.
Wooden Robot will continue to operate the South End tap room location, as well as the recently unveiled gastropub in collaboration with Kre8 Xperiences.
Wooden Robot Brewery was represented by David Tschirhart with Legacy CRE and attorney Christian Staples with Shumaker Loop & Kendrick, LLP.
