MORGANTON, N.C. – Fonta Flora Brewery will host their 6th Annual Yuletide Art Market at 2 locations this year – spreading the holiday cheer to their Charlotte tasting room location in Optimist Hall. The market will be held on Saturday, December 11th from 12-4pm. This mini market will feature vendors traveling from near and far to sell their original art and crafts – everything from herbals to macrame, prints to photography.
The brewery will also partner with Charlotte Beer Collective to host a Winter Warmer event. CBC is partnering with local non-profit, Block Love CLT, to collect monetary donations, new long johns, coats and blankets for our neighbors experiencing homelessness in the Mecklenburg area. Scarlett Property Group and Bigfoot Kick are sponsoring the first round for the first 50 in attendance making donations along with some price packages from Fonta Flora. The Block love CLT mission is to “provide restoration, resources, education and essential tools to the individuals that occur hardship in our community. We shall empower, show love and teach them to become self-sufficient while advocating for their needs and human rights.”
DJ Dangfunky will be playing vinyl tunes during the market. “Yuletide is one of our very favorite events to host. It’s one of the ways we can give back to the community, and support local culture.” says Event Coordinator, Brit Josa.
The brewery will be releasing “Yuletide” – a bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout conditioned on traditional gingerbread spice bottles, available day-of.
